Afraid Exercise Will Hurt
As long as you pay attention to your form as you exercise, which includes having good posture and concentrating on the movements, you shouldn’t worry too much about injury. When doing weight lifting the main thing is the amount of weight you are using. Always start out with very light weights and gradually work up to heavier weights as you get stronger. Warming up on a treadmill or walking can help to reduce the possibility of injury and reduce soreness.
If you experience muscle soreness in the beginning that is quite normal. It just means that your muscles need the work you are giving them. The next time you work out just take it a little easier as you continue to condition your muscles.
Afraid You’ll Injure Yourself By Doing The Wrong Thing
